Who are we?

Uplift is committed to encouraging positive outcomes for all our learners through the provision of high-quality education and training. We have been offering training and coaching services throughout the North East since 2012 and have an experienced team on hand to help!

Over the past 10 years, Uplift has empowered individuals who face significant barriers, helping them rediscover their confidence and believe in themselves. Many of these individuals had experienced extended periods of unemployment, lacked essential skills, and struggled with motivation, resilience, and aspiration. However, after connecting with our services, they’ve transformed their outlook and taken positive steps towards personal growth.

Our passionate staff guide participants through each stage of their journey, supporting them to find employment, pursue further training, or engage in volunteering. These amazing, life-changing individuals have overcome years of self-doubt and have now shifted their mindset, taking actions that benefit not only themselves but also their families and the wider Sunderland community.

Our vision is simple: to equip people with the tools and techniques they need to sustain positive change, continue their growth within the community, and live life to the fullest.
